  We have a tooth!!! Jadyn's first tooth popped through the gums today. You can't really see anything but you can definitely feel it. I don't think the next one is too far away either.

  Jadyn had his 6 month doctor's appt. She said that everything was looking good. He now weighs 16 lbs 6 oz. He also had his shots. Unfortunately for mommy, I left his pacifier in the car and he was not happy when the doctor was looking him over. He was fine as long as he was sitting. He did not want to lay down.
  
  We had our first real boo-boo tonight. Jadyn slipped a little in the tub and banged the back of his head. There was a bump immediately. He actually barely cried which was good but I still felt bad. There will be lots more to come I'm sure.
  
  Jadyn is eating baby food 3 meals a day. He loves the oatmeal cereal and the rice cereal. He also loves the sweet potatoes, squash, and carrots. He hated all the fruits and green veggies until a few days ago. Now he will eat most of what we give him but those 3 are his favorites. Although, he often blows bubbles at me with peas in his mouth. He thinks it is so funny.
  
  He has been doing great with sleeping until the past few nights. He still sleeps through the night but now he doesn't want to fall asleep. It seems like he doesn't want to be alone. He is fine as long as I am in the room but the second I put one foot out the door he starts crying. It's really not too bad, but he used to fall asleep so much easier.
  
  I think part of him not sleeping well is his teeth. He drools like crazy (a bib 24/7) and he never is without something in his mouth. I can see 2 little white bumps on the bottom. I think it will be a while before they actually pop up but you can definitely see them.
  
  He can sit by himself. Usually if he starts to fall, he catches himself with his hand or wobbles his legs to get his balance. Other times, he takes a face dive or falls backwards.
  
  The other fun thing that he is doing is giving "kisses" (today was the first time). I'm not sure if they are meant to be kisses or not but that's my story and I'm sticking to it. When I kiss him on the cheek, he opens his mouth real big and puts it on my cheek. It is so sweet. He gives "hugs" too. Once again I am not sure if that is the intent but he puts his arms around my neck and squeezes.
  
  Jadyn absolutely loves the bouncer and walker (as you can see from the pics I posted the other day). It actually seems like he can "walk" where he wants to go. We had to put outlet covers in already because he reached for an outlet already. I can only imagine what I have in store for me...
  
  I'm sure there are things that I am forgetting to write but he changes every day.
