No more formula! No more bottles! No more facing backwards in the car! Jadyn is officially drinking milk. I am thrilled to not have to buy anymore expensive formula for him again! He had no trouble switching to milk. He just took it and didn't even make a face. For the last month, we have only been giving him a bottle in the morning and night. We went through a few kinds of sippy cups but finally found the ones he likes the best. He was fine when we took away the night bottle but fussed a litle when we took away the morning bottle. We also decided to face his carseat forward. He seemed to love it. He stared out the window and then started clapping. It was very cute!
I can't believe that Jadyn will be one years old in a week. This time last year I was wondering when he would be here. It has been an amazing year watching him change and grow everyday.
This weekend we are going to S. Fl for Uncle Aaron's Bar Mitzvah. Then we are driving to Orlando to go to Disney. I am so excited to go.
Well I hope everyone has a happy and healthy New Year!!Add a comment:

No Hanukkah last night. Jadyn was way too tired. We'll try again on Friday.

Happy Hanukkah! Even though Hanukkah starts tonight, we are not going to start until tomorrow because Daddy has to work late tonight. We probably aren't going to do 8 consecutive days either. No one will ever know the difference.
Well I haven't written in a long time because we were all super sick and then super busy. What ever bug we had, really knocked us all down. Jadyn was on 4 antibiotics in a month, Ivan was on 2 of them and I was on one. Now we are all better but have been super busy. This is Ivan's busy time at work and I have all our normal stuff going on.
Let's see...
Jadyn is doing great! He had his first haircut yesterday. It went so well. He didn't throw a fit at all. He just drove his police car. He now has 8 teeth and another one on its way (4 on bottom and 4 on top). He still isn't walking but crawling all over the place and standing up on everything. Daycare is going really well. They said that he is now really having fun playing "with" the other kids. The past couple of days he has not wanted to eat baby food. He only wants to feed himself. He absolutely loved canned chicken, cheese, and crackers for his meal. So far the only thing that he truly HATES to eat is cottage cheese. He has thrown it up everytime. I can't blame him - YUCK!
I have to take him to the allergist next week. It seems that he may be allergic to some of the antibiotics. He has broken out in hives twice after finishing the antibiotics. I think he might have a penocilin (sp?) allergy. But we'll find out for sure next week.
We put up a Hanukkah bush (yes, that's code for christmas tree) and put lights outside the house. We decided to be a little more festive this year. Jadyn has already pulled some ornaments off the tree, tried to open some of his gifts, and gave Latte some of his gifts (he put them in her cage).
Well I guess that's it for now. I will post the pics of Hanukkah later in the week.Comments:Yaneli: Hey, guys! Hope all is well. Happy New Year. I miss you guys. Jadyn is soooo big. Wow!!! I actually just got back from Guatemala. I went to meet the rest of my boyfriend's family. Thought about you guys while I was there. Hope to catch up soon. I'll be in Jacksonville on my Emergency Medicine rotation this month, but don't hesitate to call when you have some time. xoxoxoSandra: Happy Hanukkah!!!!!Add a comment:
